Communication Off-Platform: Be cautious if a seller attempts to move communication off the Adsmoo platform by requesting email correspondence or phone calls. Use the in-app chat feature for all communication.

Cheque Payments: Exercise caution if a buyer insists on paying via cheque, as this payment method carries a higher risk of fraud. Prefer secure payment options such as cash or bank transfers.

Item Dispatch Before Payment: Avoid sending items to buyers before receiving payment. Genuine buyers understand the need for payment before item dispatch and are willing to comply.

Requests for Personal Information: Refrain from sharing personal information like ID numbers or bank details with buyers. Legitimate transactions do not necessitate sharing sensitive personal data.

International Transactions: Exercise heightened caution when dealing with buyers from foreign countries or those requesting items for relatives abroad. Verify their authenticity before proceeding with the transaction.

Report Ads: Tap "Report this ad" at the bottom of the ad to notify our team of suspicious listings.
